Just as I promised, I'm back with some decor ideas for a woodland theme nursery for your baby boy. I have a few adorable little woodland critters crawling around my Etsy Shop.... eeek! (in a cute and fun way...not in a call the exterminator way!) If you already have furniture, it can be so easy to update the nursery to achieve your woodland theme. All of the products below totaled about $160. (Sources below) Sources: (Etsy and Amazon)
1. Woodland Boy Prints from my Etsy Store. (Free phonics lesson included *wink*) 2. Burlap Chevron Banner. (Honesly, burlap. So. Cute.) 3. Plush Deer Wall Mount. (I'm usually a little afraid of dead animals on the wall...don't tell my *hunting-loving husband* but I could really go for this adorable plush.) 4. Yellow Corduroy Pillow Cover. (Will someone buy this and tell me how soft it is? K, thanks. It looks so soft!) 5. Plaid Crib Sheet. (Sigh....it's so adorable) 6. Navy Throw Blanket. (I'm generally not a fan of standard nursery bedding. I think it's fine to use a regular throw blanket to display on the crib.) 7. Northwoods Bear clock. (How cute!?!?) 8. Wood Look Finish Lamp. (I'd usually say go for the real thing and buy an actual wood lamp, but this one is so affordable I went for it.) 9. Paprika Colored Striped Rug. (Paprika....a great word and apparently a great color for this rug!) See my Woodland Boy Pinterest Board Here for more ideas. I'm digging all of these mermaids that are swimming around home decor lately so I put together a little inspiration for your mermaid-y enjoyment. An easy bathroom spruce up for about $170. I say "about" because prices on Amazon tend to fluctuate a bit. Have I mentioned that I am somewhat obsessed with Amazon? I think it's the two-day shipping. No, perhaps the fact that I don't have to take four kids shopping. No, it's the two-day shipping. Okay, it's a tie. Now that that's settled, here you go: fun and relaxed mermaid bathroom for about 170 bucks.....

1. The mermaid prints are from my Etsy store, so easy to print and pop into a frame. 2. The shower curtain that I would like to marry. 3. Who knew that coconut shells could be made into soap dishes? 4. Striped Turkish Towel which happens to be my backup if the shower curtain turns down my marriage proposal. 5. Nautical trash can. 6. Textured soap pump. 7. White towels. 8. Bamboo ladder to hang said towels on. 9. Adorable little seahorse hooks. 10. Bamboo bath mat. There you have it...with my instant download art and Prime shipping from Amazon, you (or I!), could have this Mermaid-y bathroom in two days. Hmmmmmm.......I'm considering it ;-)
Is there anything more fun that decorating a baby nursery? I'm a sucker for pink florals paired with stripes. I jumped on Amazon for a minute today and put together some deocr ideas for a baby girl woodland theme nursery. Adorable and affordable! I like home decor that coordinates, but that is not so *matchy matchy*...a collected look.
The Woodland Nursery Prints from my Etsy Store are an instant download; so fast and easy to print and frame at home. I'm also in love with this pennant from Amazon. I love how it coordinates with the floral blanket and crib sheet, but that it's not a matching set. Who says you need one of those over priced "crib sets"? No way! You can't use the blankets anyway! The pink striped rug adds another pop of pink and goes great with this textured lamp. Throw some toys or blankets in the striped storage basket and you are ready to go! Woodland Girl Nursery for under $150! See the other Baby Girl Woodland Nursery Prints that I have available in My Etsy Store here and below. Some of the prints can be personalized with baby's name and birth year ("established date"). How fun would they be for a baby shower gift!? The pictures are linked to my store (because I'm just that nice ;-) All of these little critters from the forest are putting me in the mood for some s'mores and a big old round of Kumbaya....which can only mean one thing: I'm off to the pantry to steal a handful of chocolate chips! I'm fairly boring when it comes to Halloween. I think I'm usually still lamenting the end of summer. My poor kids always ask for decorations and for the most part I only consent to carving pumpkins on October 31st. My oldest daughter asked again a couple of days ago. I sighed....and then I decided to turn over a new leaf! Look what I whipped up! I compiled all of the printables into one neat and tidy pdf and I have it for sale for $5. Email me using the contact form above to arrange payment if you are interested in whipping up a little something yourself! Go ahead! I've done all of the hard work for you! *wink* Check out my super amazing (erm, um I mean...first.time.I.ever.posted.anything.on.youtube.kinda.sketchy) video tutorial for how to assemble the paper lollies (the little round accordion folded treasures below). Buy Now On Etsy As a funny side note. I wish you all could have seen the look on my husband's face as I was hauling "my Halloween display" out the back door to the yard. LOL, it was priceless. My house was too dark for a proper photo, although my display looks equally as cute in my living room. There 'ya go kids! We are ready for Halloween! Does this mean that I don't have to carve pumpkins?
